Koltrix has four plans: a free trial, Starter, Pro, and Scale. Each is priced per workspace with a number of seats included, rather than per user. This post walks through what each plan includes, what the limits mean in practice, and how to pick one.
Everything here comes from the same configuration file that drives our billing and our pricing page. If the two ever disagree, the pricing page is current.

Annual billing on Starter and Pro works out to about 20 percent less than paying monthly. Prices are also available in Indian rupees: Starter is ₹999 a month and Pro is ₹2,999 a month.
Why per workspace, not per user
Most business email is priced per user, so adding a co-founder or a support hire raises the bill by a full license. We price per workspace because small teams change shape often: a part-time helper, a contractor for a month, a co-founder who reads support@ on weekends.
On Starter, three people are included. A fourth and fifth person cost $4 each per month, so a five-person team pays $20 a month. On Pro, ten people are included.
What each limit means
Seats
A seat is a person who can sign in to the workspace. Each person gets their own login, with access granted per shared mailbox.
Domains and addresses
A domain is a custom domain you've verified, like yourcompany.com. Addresses are the mailboxes on those domains, both personal (maria@) and shared (support@). Starter's two domains suit a company with one main domain plus a second product or brand. Pro's ten suit agencies or companies with several products.
Inbox sends
Messages people send from the inbox itself, as opposed to mail your application sends. Starter allows 500 a day and Pro 2,000 a day. These are daily limits.
API and SMTP sends
Messages your application sends through the transactional email API or SMTP relay: password resets, receipts, notifications. These are metered monthly on paid plans. Starter includes 10,000 a month. Pro includes 50,000 a month, and additional sends beyond that are billed at $1 per 1,000.
Limits are enforced by the API itself, not just displayed on a dashboard. That protects the shared sending reputation every customer depends on. The full reference is in the limits documentation.
AI actions
AI actions meter the AI work done for your workspace, such as summarizing threads and drafting replies. Starter includes 300 a month and Pro 2,000. AI never sends anything on its own; a person always clicks send.
Storage
Mail and attachments. Starter includes 10 GB and Pro 50 GB.
What's different on Pro
Beyond higher limits, Pro adds a few features:
- Network-wide Pitch Shield screening. Pitch Shield screens cold pitches from strangers on every plan. On Pro, it adds cross-workspace screening, drawing on what Koltrix sees across workspaces rather than only your own mail.
- Priority support.
The trial
Every workspace starts with a 7-day trial with no card required. It includes 2 seats, 1 domain, 3 addresses, 1 GB, 50 inbox sends and 200 API sends a day, and 25 AI actions a day, which is enough to set up a real domain and test the product properly.
If the trial ends without a plan, nothing is lost straight away. The workspace becomes read-only: mail still arrives and everything stays readable and exportable, but sending, the API and SMTP pause until you pick a plan. If it's still unpaid 30 days after that, the data is deleted, after three warning emails. We cover this in detail in what happens during and after a Koltrix trial.
Scale
Scale is for teams that need more than Pro, with limits set per customer and pricing quoted directly. It includes an SLA for support.

What the price doesn't include
To be clear about what you're buying: Koltrix is a team inbox, a transactional email API and an SMTP relay, with AI triage and drafting. It isn't an office suite, it doesn't include a newsletter or campaign product in v1, and it doesn't offer dedicated IP addresses. Desktop mail client access over IMAP isn't available yet; it's planned for the next release.
