Koltrix vs Resend

Resend is a developer-first transactional email API. Koltrix sends the same kind of mail and also gives your team a real inbox on the same domain, so replies have somewhere to go.

What Resend is

Resend is a transactional email API with a very good developer experience: clean SDKs, React Email, a clear dashboard and fast onboarding. If all you need is “my app sends email and I never want to think about it again”, it is an excellent product and the integration takes minutes.

Choose Resend if…

  • You only need to send. You already have Gmail or Workspace for the team and are happy with it.
  • You want first-party SDKs and React Email templates; ours is a REST API and SMTP.
  • You need deliverability at a volume far above what a young platform should be trusted with.
  • You want a dedicated sending IP. We do not offer one.

Choose Koltrix if…

  • Replies to your product's email are a real problem for you. In Koltrix they land in the team inbox, threaded under the original message, instead of at a noreply address.
  • You would otherwise pay for Workspace and a sending API separately — this is one bill and one set of DNS records.
  • You want the inbox side too: triage, drafts, shared addresses like support@ and sales@.
  • You want one address book across product mail and human mail.

Resend prices by monthly email volume; current tiers are on their site. Koltrix bundles an inbox and an API send allowance into one workspace price. Resend is a trademark of its owner; it is named here for comparison only, and we use none of its brand assets.
