Status

When something breaks, you hear it from us.

The public dashboard is not live yet

We would rather say so than show a green badge with nothing behind it. Until the external monitor is published, incidents are announced by email to affected workspaces and answered at [email protected].

What is monitored

The admin console runs a live probe against each component rather than reporting a cached guess. These are the seven it checks.

  • Inbound mail (Postfix)

Whether mail can be accepted at all

  • Mailbox storage (Dovecot)

Whether delivered mail can be read

  • Spam filtering (Rspamd)

    Scoring and DKIM signing

  • Search (Meilisearch)

Whether search answers from the index

  • Object storage

    Attachments and exports

  • Database (PostgreSQL)

    Everything else

  • Queue (Redis)

    Background work: sends, classification, indexing

What we promise during an incident

  • Mail is deferred rather than discarded. If we cannot accept a message we tell the sending server to try again, so it is not lost.
  • Affected workspaces get an email, not a tweet.
  • We say what happened afterwards, including when the cause was ours.

Koltrix does not offer a contractual uptime SLA on its self-serve plans. Support with an SLA is part of the Scale plan and is agreed in writing, not promised on a web page.
