Autonomy dial Beta

Three settings. You choose how far an agent can go.

Agents that cannot do anything are not useful, and agents that can do anything are not safe. The dial sits in between, and you set it per agent.

Suggest

The default. The agent writes drafts and proposals. A person reads them and sends. The agent has no way to send.

Approve

The agent proposes a send and it waits in your Action center. You approve, edit then approve, reject or snooze it, from your phone if you like.

A kill switch and a record

One switch puts every agent in the workspace back to Suggest at once. Changes to an agent are written to its audit log.

Auto: reply on its own when it is sure

Auto lets an agent send alone, but only inside rules you set. It is off by default for every agent, and anything that fails a rule waits for your tap in the Action center.

  • Only when the agent is highly confident and can point to what its answer is based on
  • Only to recipients on your allowed list that the agent already knows
  • Only when the message and mailbox show no injection risk
  • A daily cap, optional quiet hours, and a hold on identical messages for 10 minutes
  • Every autonomous send logged, and one switch turns all agents off

Not in v1

What this page does not claim.

  • Auto is off until you turn it on, so by default every send needs a person
  • There is no setting that lets an agent delete or forward mail
